The Administration of Prowers County Sheriff's Office is comprised of the Sheriff, Undersheriff, Jail Administrator, and Office Manager. These individuals are responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks that arise. The Administration manages finances, payroll, and a large variety of other administrative needs, to include sex offender registration, administering concealed weapons permits, and maintaining State required records.

Civil process is the largest source of revenue for the Sheriff's Office. The money earned from civil process goes back into the County's General Fund; not back into the Sheriff's Office budget. Colorado Sheriffs are given the authority by Colorado Statute to charge for this service due to the cost expenditures that civil process requires: mileage and often a lot of time and effort.
